Life Group BBQ..

So last Monday our life group had a little BBQ, or goal was just to have fun, and try and spark conversation with our neighbors.. I think we had fun, and we did get to talk to a few neighbors.. and of course we had the cornhole set out and we played until the sun went down.. So the Lain's were in town this last week and I took a few pics of them, let me know what you think.. This family is going to be heading to Mongolia to be missionaries for the next few years. You can read more about it on their blog.. Please pray for them.

my bride.

So today is Bethany's birthday, she is turning 27.. I can't believe that I came out to California almost 5 years ago, and met this amazing woman of God.. It feels like we have known each other forever, and I can't even think of life without her.. I love her, I care about her, I need her.. If you don't know her, do yourself a favor and get to know her.. She is great with kids, she loves people, and she is an amazing wife.. I love the way that she cares so much for our son Josiah, and how much she cares about me too.. I just wanted to let the world know that I thank God daily that he brought me into Bethany's life.. I love you babe..

We went to dinner at the River's resturant, it was good, I am not one for fancy type places though.. Bethany ordered the Swordfish, and I got a Kobe beef cheeseburger.. And for her

 birthday that gave her this crazy smoking ice cream dessert.. Fun stuff.. 

I also got her the once soundtrack.. Great movies as well..

It has begun..

Well for years now I have wanted to get this game out to the west, and now, thanks to this guy, I finally had a chance to create a set and get people playing.. I would like to introduce everyone to CORNHOLE.. It is called that because you take a small bag filled with corn and throw it through a 6" hole cut out of a board.. It is a very fun game, and very addicting.. I will have my set created on Monday and I will start to spread the addiction soon.. BBQs, swim parties, days at the park.. Where ever there is a level stretch of about 30' or so, you will see this game wherever I am..

Trust me, we were hanging out with this guys family for the 4th of July weekend, and introduced this game to them, and they not only loved it, but became very competitive and a little rowdy..
