life is fun sometimes.

Ok, so last night I stayed up kind of late and finished up a few projects.. Then this morning I got up to start on something new, and that thing took me close to 6 hours... and then I got the beach ball of death.. [if you own a mac, or have ever used a mac you would know that this is not good] I realized at that moment that I had done the one thing that all designers live to regret.. I forgot to save my work and ended up losing everything, but thank Steve Jobs for creating the snap shot feature, I took a picture of my desktop as my Photoshop was in freeze mode and was able to recreate the whole thing in a few hours this time.. What a day..

Here is what I did, it is going to be the new bulletin for my church for the first trimester.. Let me know what you think.

Christmas and the days after.

So our first Christmas as PB&J was a success. I woke up really early in the morning, as usual, and waited for everyone else to get up and then we made breakfast and opened presents.. I really missed my family this year, just like every year, but I was really surprised by my brother's gift to my wife and I... Cincinnati's chili. This is an amazing present because it is the closest that I am going to get to something that reminds me of home and taste like one of my favorite restaurants in Cincinnati, OH "Skyline Chili".. Seriously if you are going to be around the Ohio area and have not had Skyline yet, please check it out, it will change you life.. Ok, moving on... So we opened the many gifts that Josiah got and then set them all around him and watched as he tried to figure out what was going on, he loved everything thanks Mom, Jim, and Brad.. The rest of the day we just sat around as a family and watched movies all day, one of the best Christmases ever..!

small christmas with family.

This will be our first Christmas with Josiah, and we wanted to be alone and be able to just be a family of three for a bit. I am super excited about this next year, but at the same time there is a lot left to do this year. I always enjoy being around family on the holidays and this year is no exception... We have a small tree and, because of my family back east, lots of gifts.. The picture tells it all.. My favorite part about Christmas isn't the gifts, in fact it hasn't been for quite some time now, but it is really about being with friends and family and celebrating the birth of Christ.. So I hope that everyone will be able to do that.. Happy Christmas everyone.!!

my family.

These last few years have been amazing.! A few days ago my wife and I had our three year annaversary, moment to celebrate.. We are so happy and very blessed. We have an amazing son named Josiah James Hardy, and we are involved in an amazing community of Jesus followers. Seriously if you are a young married couple wanting to have kids and start a life together then Redding, CA is the place to be.. There are so many family having babies in our community and everyone is so supportive.. I love it here in this moment. Right now.. Things are great.!

today is a new day.

Well today is the first of many, i hope blogs. I am going to try and start to write about all the things that are important and some of the things that aren't.. I have really bad grammar, and I can't really type very fast, so most of my blogs will be short and probably won't make much sense. I hope that you enjoy what I have to say, and I hope that i have a lot of enjoyable things to say.. Please fell free to leave me comments whenever you feel the need.
